What about the Think Progress splice and dice video purporting to show racist Tea Partiers? No outrage there for the dishonest montage they put together?
No one lost their livelihood over it...thats the issue.
The point of the Breitbart page is the support the audience gives Ms. Sherrod in the story of her racist activities. Not whether or not she later recants.
If the NAACP was in possession of the entire tape then why was Ms. Sherrod asked to resign? Racism?
"Liberals have a tendency to blame the broad revolt against Obama's fiscal policies and economic failures on latent racism, particularly in the Tea Party movement. It is an explanation that avoids, or at least delays, the unpleasant necessity of ideological readjustment. Conservatives, in turn, seem unwilling to acknowledge that populist conservative movements often have racist and nativist elements -- and by this denial seem tolerant of bigotry in their midst.
To summarize: The president of the NAACP affirmed that the Tea Party movement is not racist. His organization urged Tea Party leaders to publicly condemn the movement's racist elements -- which the Tea Party Federation did almost immediately. These developments are small but significant signs of sanity.
These reactions are disproportionate across the political spectrum -- and disproportionate for obvious reasons. Some are seeking ratings, hits, supporters and attention by stoking racial fires. And too many Americans are searching for excuses to justify their rage."

Did you notice that ever since the media finally caught on about liberals' crashing Tea Party marches with racist signs we haven't seen any lately?
Vilsack is sticking by his decision, but I bet the WH will take the opportunity to continue dividing America based on race.
Ms. Sherrod was appointed by Ag Sec tom Vilsack.
Quote:
Only days before (the appointment), Ms. Sherrod and her husband with other black families won a $13 million settlement in a minority law suit over 6,000 acres of a community of black owned farm land because the USDA had failed to provide loans to the community. PLUS, Ms. Sherrod and her husband received $150k each for pain and suffering.
Well she should be fired. Don't see what this has to with the NAACP being racist and maybe it is. I'm not a member and want be a member. I guarantee that NAACP has racist in it that should be ran out. The nbpp is a racist group that wants harm brought to white people. Now will any tea party member or sympathizer say what the tea party is. Ill wait.
I'm a minority (one of many) in the tea party. Don't you think if there was any real evidence of racism in the tea party it would be plastered all over the media 24/7. It isn't because it doesn't exist. It's the only card the dems have and they use it all the time. When will the average idiot figure that out?

The same KKK who murdered Mrs. Sherrod's father, btw. And just so we have a full understanding of where she might have developed her initial trepidation towards the white farmer, said KKK member who murdered her father when she was just 17 years old, was also a farmer.
She must be one hell of an open-minded and kindhearted woman to have overcome such a hideous act of violence perpetrated against her and her family and not end up bitter and resentful, but live a life of service to her community, including the white farmers she did help.

Yes. For someone whose father was killed by the KKK, Ms. Sherrod may now end up going down in history as an icon...... remembered as a positive force in race relations and for the changing of hearts and minds.
(Ironic how faux noise can chit and then step backwards into it, ending up causing the exact opposite of their shady intention. This one backfired on 'em big time!)
When will people -- ESPECIALLY THE WHITE HOUSE -- learn that Andrew Breitbart and Faux Noise are not to be trusted to portray the truth, and INVESTIGATE EVERYTHING THEY CLAIM before taking any action or making any comments?
I'm so sick of these lying sacks pulling political tricks and getting away with it.
Should non-profit groups which receive federal funds ever be allowed to discriminate on the basis of race?
Think before you answer.
