So all this time I thought the libbies were trying to take prayer out of school, and here they go and put it right back in.

Say..did you also change your minds about the prayer before HS football games start ?
I think the field trips to churches is really intended to let children see what other churches outside their experience are like. My grandmother, who did not go to church, insisted that all of her children go to church once a week. But they could go to any church they wanted. She wanted them to be able as adults to make an informed decision about their spiritual life. So if they wanted to go to a mosque, fine. If they wanted to attend mass, fine. If they wanted to go to temple, fine. She encouraged them to experiment and to learn about other religions. In today's world, where there is so much animosity being expressed about various religions, I don't think the field trips are a bad idea. Field trips do require parental permission, so if parents are uncomfortable with them, they can withhold permission. And I believe that the school has already come out with a statement that what happened on this particular field trip was not planned, and will not happen again.

I assume there were girls on this field trip too. Where were they? Why weren't they invited to pray with the men along with the boys?

They were not allowed in the prayer room. I don't know enough about the religion to comment on why..but the girls had to stay in another room and watch from afar.

lmao...I just fully watched that vidoe.

Its funny that apologetic libbies claim that this was an educational experience where children are taught that Islamic women had/have more freedoms than Western women.

Who said that Islamic women had/have more rights than Western women?

The Islamic woman in the video did..she told the kids that Muslim women were voting for hundreds of years before Western women.

Did you watch the video ?

Maybe the buses were contracted/rented out by the church to do so?

I see public school buses making stops at day-care facilities for 1/2 day kindergarteners.

I wonder if the parents have to pay extra for that?

All I could find in a quick search:

Wiki says:
When men and women are praying together in public, the genders are usually separated. If a mosque has multiple rooms or floors, the women will pray either in another room or on a balcony. If separate areas are not possible, men and women are divided by rows. This is thought to prevent distraction during prayer.

Maybe there were no women praying that day to help indoctrinate the girls too?
