No you haven't. The employer pays for the unemployment insurance through a tax. The employee pays none of it. If you think you do, you should be able to find it listed on your pay stub. So I'd suggest you examine that.

I feel sorry for you guys having this thread moved here. I couldn't imagine having lost my job, collecting UE, realizing it's going to end for the Holidays and then have to come here and read this hate filled insanity rather than support from those who understand.

I sincerely hope that things turn around for those of you who don't have a job right now. I'm routing for all of you and your families.

Ignore these venomous posters, they have their own problems and need somebody to beat up on, that's why they spend so much time here...they are miserable and it's their only outlet.

Just FYI, employees in three states DO pay into their state's unemployment insurance fund: Alaska, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. But those contributions are very small compared to the contributions made by employers in those same three states. No employee contributions in the other 47 states.

Liberals have had total control of congress for 4 years yet you still blame Bush.

We HANDED Obama billions to create jobs and he has not only wasted away the money but has cost us 5 million jobs to boot.

This is the dems mess on their watch which they created over the last 4 years with reckless spending.

2 years of Obama has produced ZERO results.

The GOP is not the party of No, the REAL party of NO is the dems.
They said HELL NO to the majority of Americans who said no to the HC bill.
They ran it anyway and paid dear for it last month for telling us NO.

2 recessions under the dems watch in 4 years.

Billions of our dollars has been handed to Obama and nothing to show for it.

How much longer are you going to blame Bush? Willing to bet if the economy changes you would be giving the idiot in the WH credit for it.

The MAJORITY of Americans are against Obama and the dems, cant you see that?

I demand my rep stop all dems last minute spending sprees and demand they work on how to create jobs and extend the tax cuts for everyone.

Sorry but the MSNBC crowd has filled your brain with BS.

Corps create jobs as well as millions of small businesses.

Those small businesses do not trust Obama and will not spend cash to hire people under these economic conditions.

I owned a small business and know full well that when you have a big spender like Obama in the WH with Pelosi and Reid teamed together you will get taxed to death and money stolen from you by the liberals.

The Bush tax cuts were NOT just for the rich people at all.

They allowed me and my business to grow, prosper and make great money.

Thanks to Bush many people picked up their nice paychecks every week for many years working for me.

Lets see how Obama can copy what Bush did and get the economy going, have 52 consecutive months of JOB GROWTH and put money in peoples hands.

My bet he is he cannot do it.

This is the dems watch, the dems mess.

Obamas watch, Obamas mess.

You guys own it and just got your butts kicked because of your massive failures.

Turn of the freak Maddox, RedDog, Keith and Matthews and learn to understand how things work. The anti American channel is last for a reason.
LMAO, your numbers and thinking is so off base I shouldn't even be quoting you.

Bush had 52 consecutive months of job growth.

BS, quite the opposite

Jobs and the economy did not start going down hill until after 2007, after libs took control of congress.

If you have knowledge of politics you would know that it takes 2 terms for a presidents actions to show thier results! Guess what, 2 terms and bush's policies are taking effect.

2 years of Obama has produced ZERO results.

10 years of the bush era Tax Rates that were supposed to produce jobs. Please tell me, where are the jobs?

Corps create jobs as well as millions of small businesses.

Another trickle down economics myth. Why aren't these corporations creating jobs????

The Bush tax cuts were NOT just for the rich people at all.

This I agree with.

Thanks to Bush many people picked up their nice paychecks every week for many years working for me.

Thanks to the Bush family, we are in the mess we are in right now!

2 recessions under the dems watch in 4 years.

Again, under the Bush era tax Cuts for the past 10 years, we are in the worst recession in history.

I could keep going but I don't have time to waste on this senseless innacurate post.

Good job Sunny .....

Thank you for that info - I never knew that. Then, again, I've only ever had unemployment experience in two states - Michigan where I grew up and lived most of my life and Nevada where I've lived the last decade.

Ty SL, much appreciated. What's her name should be ashamed of herself for moving this thread here.

Much respect!

Yes, I do, and have. I am a corp-to-corp independent contractor. Wanna run through my papers?

Yes, this is true. I find, here anyway, that the nastiest people are all "self made" types or "Doctors" etc. Yea...sure thing.
