You'll notice that the first one is from the OT. It helps to read all of the Good Book.
if people would just ignore this stuff...then they would lose and go away...they only do it because they can get a rise out of some people and CNN to give it press...not that too many people actually watch CNN..
You can only ignore the vocal minority for so long. They have nothing better to do (like go to work, stop living off of others, figure out that there is a difference between contraceptives and conceiving) than push what they think on others to the point that those with brains in their heads finally get fed up and start talking back?
They're (the vocal minority) little freaking gnats...get all stuck up in your hair and in your face and are just annoying little things you want to squash, one by one.

I know. And I'd just like to be on the record saying I think billboards are an aesthetic blight in general. Really, who's ever seen a billboard that they thought was attractive or convinced them of something?
Perhaps some middle ground can be reached. I, for one, would have no problem with a no-billboard ordinance. They're eyesores, they're distracting, and they're not very effective as marketing tools.

There is tons of slaying in the bible, either by god or ordered by god of anyone who believes differently...haven't you read it? Reading that thing is what started me on the path to atheism.

I agree that they are certainly an eyesore...They are not allowed here except on Indian reservations.
Yet another "persecuted christians" thread. Why would anyone get upset over a billboard?! Are Christians the only group allowed to display a message? There's a Catholic church up the street from my house, it has a huge light up sign attatched to the church depicting a fetus(subtle, huh?). So, it's ok to have signs and billboards of this nature, or ones covered with biblical verses announcing who is hellbound but it's NOT ok for Athiests to put up a sign? How many "Athiest billboards" do you see versus Christian billboards?

What about the verses I listed? Don't they count? One has to take the whole thing into consideration. Even an atheist ought to be fair in his argument for disbelief otherwise he's only fooling himself and trying to fool others. No?
Better than planes crashing into buildings, suicide bombers and a mosque going up at ground zero .
