I didn't say it was wrong. If funny and amusing were wrong, there would be a hell lot of wrong. Heck, I enjoy the show and if you're interested would love to provide you with a clip.

Let's hope he is serious. For one thing, they need to make sure they pass the trillions in cuts and sign it in to law BEFORE they raise the debt limit. An agreement to make cuts is not enough because Harry Reid and Obama can always back out once they have the extention to the debt ceiling.

We have a revenue problem, not a spending problem.

Revenues, due to the slump, have dropped much more than spending has increased.

When, of course, the cause of the bigger debt is from the 2001 and 2004 tax-cuts:

If Republicans were so concerned with deficits, why were they so insistent that the Bush tax-cuts get extended? They just make a bag situation worse:

Fine, how many democratic votes will he need to pass the raise in the limit and what is he willing to give up to get them. Otherwise he will be responsible for the default

Now that a Democrat is in the White House, deficits matter -- in spite of the fact that we're in a deep recession. It's really laughable hypocrisy.

Next time post this line first so I can ignore you as you clearly don't know anything about economics and have bought in to the lefty argument that reducing taxes somehow reduces revenue. Everytime taxes have been reduced it has increased the revenue that government takes in. The idea that tax cuts have to someohow be 'baid for' if Democrat-spun propaganda. Learn from history.

I have not seen that. Try providing evidence that proves the point.

If you are laughing now, and were laughing then, you probably aren't paying federal income taxes. The current share of the debt per taxpayer is $129,000.00 U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time
