I wish Herman Luck, but just making the statement alone of "Democrat Plantation", he's already turned off this Moderate Democrat. Its statements like these that show me the disrespect, denegration and ignorance is the only way todays Black candidates could get ahead as a conservative.
JC Watts as of today is the ONLY conservative that I've respected. Until there is a CONSERVATIVE period no matter race that can respect my right to choice, respect my opinion and agree to disagree without disrespecting, I will continue to vote Democrat. I've voted for ONE Republican (Christie Todd Whitman)...boy was that an experiment.
You make a great point but you can't possibly believe that Democrats are any different??
I agree that he's successful and educated and a very smart man. I like him. I just wonder why he felt the need to speak in those terms. It's not necessary, it can be polarizing, and it just makes it look like he's trying to get points for saying something like that. It's just not necessary.
Herman Cain said that because some black people he knows don't understand why he's gone to the Tea Party.I can understand him, he knows TP isn't racist because he's an insider of the movement, and many supporters of him are tea partiers.Maybe he thinks he can change that.
Again with this. Every Democratic candidate has received the same if not more % of the Black vote, so get over it. As far as the promise to get blacks out of the ghetto and poverty, which candidate? Provide the link...In my life time I have NEVER heard or seen a candidate make this statement.
So your calling blacks uneducated because their not voting Republican considering they have done NOTHING for Blacks, Hispanics or even WHITE middle class during the 12 years they had control, I guess its because we didn't vote for them.
Obama got a larger percentage of the black vote than any previous presidential candidate EVER, jesus christ read a book before you say something stupid like that.
I'm calling anyone who blindly votes for whoever their parents and grandparents voted for uneducated. Anyone who votes for someone who simply "looks like them" is an idiot and tons of black people voted for Obama for those exact reasons, hell people here on CD have admitted that they voted for Obama because he looked like them. Republicans have done nothing and that's exactly what Democrats have done as well.
Then why do black people overwhelmingly vote Democrat over and over again? Democrat and personal responsibility are 2 terms that shouldn't even be used in the same zip code given the fact that the ultimate goal of the Democrats is to create a government dependent population of idiots.
You would have to ask EVERY BLACK person that voted, unlike some of those who identify themselves as a Republican, I choose not to speak for an entire race, especially since I do not know them all. As far as goverment creation, personal responsibility and Democrats, have you forgotten how large the governement grew under Bush.
I know you all would like to forget, but I guess it take reminding whenever you bring up the Democrats wanting to grow Government. BOTH PARTIES are guilty of this. Until the day the Republicans can say that they haven't...your just spewing more false information.
i like Herman Cain a lot but I did not like the Plantation comment. Your insulting every black democrat.
It is possible to promote your own ideas and policies without stepping on others. I thought Herman Cain knew this, if not.. I dont' expect I would vote for him..
