Because there are quite a few black people out there who actually use logic and realize that they are living on a Democratic plantation. Democrats have kept the black population around like caged voters that they pull out a couple times a year to get the results they want, that's not working so well anymore. Black people realize that Democrats have screwed them over as bad if not worse than Republicans have and it's time for a real change.

Yes, it is a good analogy but not one that will go over well with Black voters or others who believe that making slave and plantation references is kinda weird. It probably really appeals to some whites though. I can see that.
