Canada is more conservative than you think. Especially Alberta where there are even teabaggers, creationist museums, and fundies all over the place.

The current UK Tory party is more moderate than the Canadian Tories or the GOP, however.
Update 2015 : the New Democrats have just had a sweeping victory in the Alberta government election. No, they are not Liberals. They are even more leftwing. They are SOCIALISTS through and through.

True enough...

Canada's Free Trade Agreements

Canada, unlike the US, does not have free trade with China.

Oh really?

http://environicspr.com/wp-content/u..._Diversity.pdf

Our "diversity" or minority population increased 47.8% in the years 2001 -2011 while yours increased only 28.8% for the same period. Yet we still managed to not "suck".

The tables show how the various minorities differ in each country but the "sucking" isn't caused by your slightly greater, but diminishing in difference, diversity; it rather might be caused by the choices you're making in how you're dealing with it.

Canadian cities consistently rank as the cleanest and the most livable in the world with Toronto, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; and Vancouver, British Columbia routinely taking the top spot. If I get the chance to move to Canada I'll do it in a heartbeat. It's a perfect place to live if you ask me. I'll leave America to the teabaggers. I won't wait until they turn us into a Third World Country.

1) you are clueless......Canada has less than 10 million residents. We have more illegals in the U.S. than the whole Canada population add the 320 million residents in the U.S..

2) The U.S. takes the most poor people in this continent than any other country including Canada...why is that? if things are so much better in Canada shouldn't everybody would be moving up there for the "FREE" government handouts including the 20 million illegals in our country?

3) Of course there is more racism in the U.S., MORE PEOPLE from different culture and a bigger 24/7 media that will report anything that racism sells.

4) You are clueless about the Conservative Party of Canada in power, they are nothing like the U.S. Democrat Party. Did yo ever bother to read the Party's platform? they are for LOW TAXES and control spending and cut waste with limited government . Does that sound like the U.S. Democrat Party that under Obama has added 8 TRILLION to the deficit by raising taxes and made the federal government bigger?

I could go on but I won't bother, it looks like you don't know much about the country you want to live and their government.

Well you could go on and on but you really shouldn't because your own confreres will be along shortly to correct your various errors.

Total population ....wrong! 35 million and counting. The Daily*—*Canada's population estimates, fourth quarter*2014

Immigration intake as percentage per-capita basis.....wrong again! Canada welcomes .4% of per-capita per year compared to the U.S. .8% ...... DOUBLE yours! https://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/cana...235820655.html

Percentage of population immigration based.......wrong yet again! We can attest to fully 20.6 percent of our population being immigrant based; the highest percentage of any of the G8 countries Canada's foreign-born population soars to 6.8 million - Canada - CBC News

Racism in the U.S. is predominantly African American centric with that demographic representing just over 12.6% of your population while Canada's visible minorities represent over 22% of our population with Asians representing the same 12.6%, parallel to your African Americans and racism shown towards that group in Canada is nowhere near U.S, levels of racism shown towards A/A's.

Wrong yet again.......Whaaasup?

The final point you make regarding our conservative government might have some merit, so it's not all bad.

It looks like you know even less than you attribute to him about the country the poster wants to live in .

Canada has its own racial problem and its called the First Nations. Plus try to emigrate to Canada if you are a Coloured person.

Canadian conservatives and all other conservatives around the developed and even less developed countries are nothing like republicans in the USA. Even though Harper is religious he is nothing like a southern or Midwestern religious politician. Please stop the ignorance.
