Yeah, but you folks love your Starbucks FemmeLatte dishwater while we on the other hand have Tim Horton's genuine coffee.

Far more likely to be down to their Scottish grannies than liberals (or even Liberals - not that you'll understand the distinction). The Scottish female, especially the working-class sort who emigrated, have a fierce and long tradition of contempt for the male.

BS. The republican party makes canadian conservatives look like flaming liberals. They aint trying to repeal their health care or lack of firearms. Most canadian conservatives would be the equivalent of a moderate democrat here.

Yes, and being liberal in Canada is more like being conservative in Europe. I am Canadian and even when I cite so-called "progressive" programs in Canada, my french and German friends who visit the country still view it as more right wing and capitalistic. As for the US, they just think it's crazy! ;-) Money money money. No money. No service. No freedom.

A non-diverse population might just have an impact. Not just race, but with fare fewer criminal aliens, they have a much more monolithic culture, one that doesn't tend to tear the country apart. Yes, they have the strong French provinces, but within any one province they are quite non-diverse.

Canadian cities consistently rank as the cleanest and the most livable in the world with Toronto, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; and Vancouver, British Columbia routinely taking the top spot. If I get the chance to move to Canada I'll do it in a heartbeat. It's a perfect place to live if you ask me. I'll leave America to the teabaggers. Demographics/thread

Basically, America sucks because of diversity. Everything about Canada that's better than the United States is almost directly a result of their Demographics. I realize this will most likely crush your little bleeding heart, but it's completely true.

Were it listed in the Bill of Rights, it would be.

All you have to do is amend the Constitution to make it a right.

I say that with all sincerity.

It's tough to want to 'make anything' of your self and make serous money there, as the taxes are just ridiculous. GST and all the other VATs too for anything imported from even the US.

And since everyone goes to school for free, everyone has a masters, and if you don't, you are stuck flipping burgers with your worthless bachelors.

Only 1 person from canada made the top 100.

Extreme economic inequality is nothing to be proud of. Why don't you show this Forbes list to a single mom living in the ghettos of Detroit?

So what if people want to live average lives in peace? Many people just want to live with reasonable opportunities and peace of mind knowing their kids won't get shot on the street and instead...pun intended... have a shot at a decent education without going broke.
