I have 4 small businesses, that there is no way in hell I'm going to entertain any expansion, or growth in this uncertain business atmosphere.

The rise in operating cost alone, nullify any hopes of me hiring even one person at any of the businesses I own.

The only one that shows promise of growth, is my hunting guide service and property leases.

The risk is created by the uncertainty in the economy as it relates to regulation (and other things).

The reward has gone down, since the economy sucks in general.

Again, I ask: Please be explicit about which of Obama's policies has raised the cost of doing business for you.

Well that's too bad. You evil business owners need to hire people. You're just making excuses. Racist.

A mom and pop accounting firm would find it much more challenging to succeed in doing federal tax services, due to recent licenseing laws. H&R block and Jackson Hewitt get to sit back and enjoy the extra market share brought on by the regulation.

Corporations LOVE regulations. Keeps the little guys from being able to compete as the corps merely look at it as the "cost of doing business" and an insurance policy to maintain their oligopoly.

Then it is status quo for you. I hope, like the businessman in this thread, that you are indeed successful with status quo.

(This year, opening day, first ever attempt with stick and string ... 21 pound turkey. Double beard, 1.5 inch spurs. I am hooked)

Obamacare for one.

Quantitative Easing, which is really Bernake for another.

Promotion of illegal alien parasite, trespass.

Just to name a few that hit me the most.
