Supposedly stress is a cause behind a whole lot of serious health issues including cancer. For the most part, pot, a depressant, mellows people out. It reduces stress. That, in itself would seem to be enough to support an argument to make it legal.

You cannot overdose on pot, but you can on just about every OTHER substance legal or illegal! Given the choice I'll settle for a buzz and the munchies with no other adverse side-effects over the other synthetic crap out there thank you very much.
Plus it makes your Browns games a lot more tolerable!

For those who are losing weight and can't eat - calming nausea and munchies are the point.

I wish you the best of luck. Weed is great stuff, but I don't smoke only because of possible drug testing for the job.
Most people (non-smokers) don't care because they know that weed is not the evil that authorities make it to be.
Enjoy!

Smoking Weed is another crisis for our government to protect us from by taking money from the middle class to finance paramilitary organizations to bang down doors and throw non-violent users in jail! Oh yeah, it also gives them another excuse to infringe upon States Rights and bust down doors of providers and dispensaries following state regulations.

Another example of why government is not the answer when it comes to morality.

I don't smoke pot either but I know when my cousins grandfather was ill, smoking marijuana eased his pain, increased his appetite and decreased nausea allowing him to eat and hold food down.

I hope for the best for you and your family.
There are already medications out there that safely do all of these things with minimal side effects.

You know, I could get more on board with this medical marijuana thing if it wasn't all just a front for people who want to use it recreationally.
