You know, I could get more on board with this medical marijuana thing if it wasn't all just a front for people who want to use it recreationally.
I don't smoke or toke.
As a matter of fact I would have to say booze is my particular drug of choice, Mostly because it is socially acceptable and I kinda got on board with that micro-brew beer thing.
To paint all supporters of decrminalizing marijuana or promoting medicinal marijuana as recreational users for one, I don't think a bad thing and two, just not accurate.

big pharma wants to have full control of it,, them bass-tards
So they catch a buzz? Big deal. Nice perk when you're suffering. And everything else has a lot more serious side-effects, and potential for abuse or overdose. You cannot overdose on pot, but you can on just about every OTHER substance legal or illegal! Given the choice I'll settle for a buzz and the munchies with no other adverse side-effects over the other synthetic crap out there thank you very much.
Nah, pot causes lung and heart disease like cigarettes, so of course it has side effects. It elevates your heart rate immediately and causes blood pressure to rise. It is also known to trigger mental diseases and psychosis. Having said all that, I personally do not oppose legalization of pot. If it is ever legalized it should be sold in containers with clear warnings about its dangers, just like in tobacco and alcohol containers.

People should use vaporizers or take it orally, no lung disease that way.Other than that I don't think it poses any health risks.Sounds like you watched Reefer Madness one too many times !!

i think they should ban roller coasters they raise your heart rate you know
barbecue smoke causes heart disese,, they should also be banned
chimney fires, camp fires, cause lung cancer,, they should be banned also
cell phones kill thousands of people every year,, they should be banned also
Absolutely true. I do not smoke pot. My wife is very ill with a chronic condition. The meds she takes are extremely expensive that add up to thousands per month in costs. They also have crazy side effects, often advertised on TV, which is beyond me why this is happening. After 3 months she has entered the donut hole in medicare. That is a different story and to those who know what I'm talking about will understand our out of pocket costs. Pot is something she may asked the doctor to prescribe her for continuous pain.
It's not a very effective drug for pain management.

It's worked fine for me...and my SO for that matter. She prefers smoking pot to taking her OCs..
