Probably because the French airline steward who spread AIDs to the US had sex with 9 different men the one weekend he was here.

And then those 9 men spread it more than 40 others over the course next several months, so it isn't exactly a stereotype.

And you don't think straight men are like that? I know guys who will try to sleep with a different woman everynight, sometimes multiple women in 1 night.

Even if a subset of gay men are more promiscuous than others, it's merely due to the fact that men are more sexual and more willing to have sex than women, so gay men have more opportunity for sex. That doesn't mean they all are like that. You'd actually be surprised how many gay men have never had sex due to coming out late, not handling the stigma and confusion well, etc.

So you listen to your gay friends when they tell you they're promiscuous, but it's fine to ignore gays when they tell you they never chose to be gay?

I happen to believe that sex is meant to be with someone you actually love and i am deeply spiritual and believe that sex is not the main purpose in life. I do not LOOK DOWN on people who have sex with lots of people, i just think that we have different beliefs.

Yet for some reason i can't donate blood and i'm told that i'm a 'pervert' by people on discussion boards the very second i reveal that i'm gay and it's assumed that i have aids etc.

I don't know. Maybe this.

"A new sex survey shows that San Francisco’s residents take the cake, and the dancer hiding inside of it, when it comes to the average number of sex partners per capita, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on July 5."

"According to the Trojan U.S. Sex Census, the average San Francisco resident has had sex with 30 other people over the course of their sexually active years."

Yes heterosexuals that engage in risky behavior are excluded too!
