I am a bit confused here. Are people saying that other first ladies deserved the SS protection they had during their husband's term and afterwards for life, but MO doesn't?
As a black woman, she is the most scrutinized First Lady in history. She is also more hated and despised by the racist segment of this country, far more than any previous First Lady simply because of the color of her skin. She's an incredible woman, mother, and wife, another fine black woman of great dignity, strength, character, versatility, intelligence, education, and depth. As a black woman in this society, she's overcome far more adversity than any white man or woman, and she has achieved much in spite of it. In her role as the wife of one of the greatest Presidents this country has had, it is her perogative to vacation.
Any amount of time she vacations is just right.
Not really going to jump on the "they hate because she's black bandwagon" but I do have to chuckle when I read the comments about her having a big butt. Not sure how people missed it but in general black women have a different shape...they can work out and diet and do whatever but if you have a big butt you're just going to have a big butt.
Yeah her clothes are ugly but as far as her shape...she's pretty average for a black woman of her age that's had two children....not sure what they want her to look like...or why it even matters..can't believe I just spent a whole post talking about the First Lady's butt....good grief they're sucking me in

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Michelle Obama's physique, she has a healthy body....not "skinny" but healthy. She has a great sense of style but she is not a full-scale fashion plate (so yes she has some fashion don'ts)
And maybe my "LA" is showing but no one has to live with a large posterior if they do not personally care to do so....that's what liposuction is for. Although I will say that I find it quite odd that people speak about Michelle Obama's derriere negatively yet praise and worship Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez for having the same "assets"

Her butt isn't that big, kindof average for any woman her age actually.
I didnt think she had a job...but all the secret service and such that goes with her shouldnt be happening in this economy, taxpayers are already stressed. The Bushes seemed to go to their ranch when getting away, not halfway around the world.

That paradox may be compounded by her other end, just not a pretty woman like Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce. It is presumed to be alluring to have a big backside IF a woman has a beautiful face.
