You gave computers to GoodWill
GoodWill SOLD your computers to a "poor" family, (which is just your assumption, because it could have been an individual like myself who needs it for parts),

In order for that "poor" family to BUY that computer, they need to not buy FOOD with it, (i.e. the thread).

You actually helped make the hungry people hungrier by making them choose food, vs computer.

Where do you think the money went that was used to purchase the computer? It went from a poor family that HAD FOOD but needed a computer and into the hands of a famly that needed money to purchase food.

I don't believe for one second that 25% of American children are malnourished.

Just the other night on ABC news they profiled a family of 4 and both parents working the only minimum wage jobs they can find and getting assistance and they still don't have enough food. I get the feeling that just because they get assistance the assistance may not go far enough. So the parents are being responsible and by your accounting of holding them responsible what should be done to them for failing?

I'm pretty sure they're for it.

Sometimes you gotta cut your losses. Everyone cannot be saved...even on the Titanic where everyone bought a ticket.

Remove the children and put them in foster care and charge the parents with child abuse. Breeding should be a luxury and not a right.

I am not sure I understand them correctly, but the tea party has other priorities.
For them balancing budgets, lowering or eliminating taxes are more important that other topics, poverty included. In their mind, each individual is responsible for their family well being, and that should not be a government concern.
