That was the same reasoning my husband and I had. We tried fertility pills but did not go further since embryos would have to be destroyed.
Fertility clinics are so new and what they do is so new my church can't keep up with it so they need to study and come out with their view on it. I depend on my church to guide me on issues of morality. Most of us need mentors.
People like Warren Jeffs and Jim Jones love people like you.

Why should they love me---I have enough intellect to reject them. I do have mentors that have been proven by history to give good advice and I will follow them. My parents were quite smart as well. Guess I was lucky.
Why the double standard? It is OK for fertility clinics to kill embryos because they do other stuff too.....but not Planned Parenthood.
Fertility clinics research the cause of infertility---their main intent is to help couples have children, not to destroy them. I chose not to do IVF and they did not force me to do it.

But, many fertility clinics do IVF....which intentionally creates embryos that they know will never get born.....yet you choose to give them a pass because they also provide other infertility treatments.
Many women go to PP for mamograms, birth control, cancer screenings, etc. But you discount all of these things because they many also do abortions. No pass for PP from you.
Do you really not see how hypocritical your thinking is?
And BTW.....no one at PP forces anyone to have an abortion. They do not kidnap pregnant women, tie them down and force abortions on them....as much as you would like to believe it.
PP does more abortions than any place else. Some propose to use tax dollars to support them.
Fertility clinics are in the grey zone so far. No place else can do fertility research than fertility clinics. PP does well women checks and provides birth control but any family doctor can do that.

There ya go again, just thinking in terms that apply to yourself.
Many people cannot afford a "family doctor". For them it is a low cost clinic or nothing.
FYI....many PP clinics do not do abortions. The two PP closest to me do not do them......they refer you to other clinics who do.
We have low cost clinics in our city. Most cities do.
Also, PP has been investigated for providing abortions to underage girls in the sex trade. No questions asked.
Investigated and convicted are two different things.
Some parents have been convicted of selling their own children into the sex trade.....so I guess ALL parents must be guilty of the same thing. Ya know, like even if one PP clinic gave an underage girl an abortion.....that means they all must be guilty of it.
