You have to understand something, their Code word for "smaller government" consist of eliminating social programs and regulating many of the things that keep the us safe from corporation's waste. An example of this would be the EPA keeping the Koch brothers from polluting the air from their papermills. Another example would be controlling the amount of hormones/chemical that Monsato (a Rumsfeld company) puts into our food supplies (FDA). So in a sense, they (corporations) are getting people to back them under false pretenses.

Think about this, (and I have mentioned this before) if the Tea baggers believed in "smaller government" why have'nt any of them mentioned repealing the Patriot Act? You won't hear a peep about cutting back on the military or bringing them home (except for Ron Paul, and the republicans totally ignore him)

I hear my follow Tea Party supporters talk about how bad the Patriot act was/is and we'd love to see it gone. We're also 100% in support of cutting back the military and bringing our troops home. Both of your points are lies.

Is the Tea Party scaring Republicans too?

CNN has an interesting new poll comparing the attitudes of Republicans who identify with the Tea Party movement to those who don't. Perhaps surprisingly, the survey finds that fully 51 percent of Republicans define themselves as non-Tea Party members have neutral, conflicted or negative views toward the movement. The other 49 percent say they are either part of the movement or in agreement with it philosophically.

Britain must resist Tea Party thinking

As unreason triumphs in the US, a similar paranoia and refusal to accept scientific fact threaten to invade British politics

The founding fathers built a constitution of checks and balances believing reasonable men would agree; how could they foresee Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann or Glenn Beck? To the British eye, America was always dangerously prone to waves of populism and McCarthyite panics. The country has reached a deadlock that may set it on a faster road to decline as absolute intransigence creates a constitution that no longer functions. Why bother with the great show of presidential elections when presidents are denied the power to match their pomp? The politics of miasma, where words matter more than facts and actions, lets the Tea Party demand the impossible – debt reduction with tax cuts, spending cuts without touching the gargantuan defence budget. Obama believed against all the evidence that his opponents would see reason. That's not who they are

This is what this is really all about - smearing the opposition.

Globalist Soros Launches Frontal Assault Against Tea Party

Soros and the foundation left have launched a website designed to go after the growing Tea Party movement. Teapartytracker.org will post video interviews and blog entries gathered by folks on the false left who never grow weary of demonstrating their outrage over the very idea of a grassroots political effort overthrowing establishment Democrats and Republicans in the district of corporate criminals.

Listen to what YOU said "I hear my follow Tea Party supporters talk about..."
That is fine and dandy but no one OUTSIDE the the people that you talk to have mentioned it or rather your political representatives! The only one mentioning anything about bringing the troops home is Ron Paul and he is totally ignored by the republicans! Talking among yourselves does not make me a liar, it only makes my point about your organization being manipulated by the tea baggers more valid

The really sad thing about it is that you don't even realize it

UH, It's a REPUBLICAN STRAW POLL! Which means two things to the rest of the country, dooley and squat! Ron won't win anything nationally because the republicans totally ignores him and his radical plans for the poor and uninsured puts him between being senile and insane
