Nobody is "TAKING" 4% of her sales, they are providing a SERVICE to help make sales easier for her customers, and they are charging 4% for that service. TAKE means you get nothing in return.

No, people can express their power via the vote, or by numerous other means. What's happening on Wall Street is no different than the tea party demonstrations a year or two ago. The power lies with the people. They can express their power in may ways besides the vote.
