The OP didn't ask if you think Obama is better or worse. He didn't ask if you think GWB got us into this mess.

He just asked if we can agree on this. "This" meaning "we need to get the money OUT of politics"

Yes, I agree, wholeheartedly. It's legalized bribery, and it needs to stop.

Who was that guy talking anyway? If I were a woman I'd have his children. THAT is who I want in office. Not some well-prepared robot like Obama.

I want a guy in office with a brain in his head, honesty in his heart, and the grapefruits in his pants to get the job done. THIS guy should run.

Some who wan tother ot to have a voice do not like that but that is the way it is and has always been.

I can't believe some people are unable to agree with GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS because a guy on msnbc is yelling about it, and they are biased against him.

Polarization of America: divide and conquer. Too easy it seems.

How do you get the money out of politics when the president is running around campaigning on taxpayer money? He's off again today touting his "jobs/tax bill" that was already voted down by the senate.

NO--raise the biggest public stink possible (which is what's happening) and vote those people out if they're not willing to do their freaking job. I'm a small business owner, a moderate R, and a capitalist, and I can tell you right now--croney capitalism is no kind of capitalism at all. What's wrong with you? Have you ever thought that maybe--just maybe--making a big stink and demanding that it be fixed when our system is a mess is the most patriotic and AMERICAN thing we can do?

So I'm confused, do you or don't you want to get the money out of politics? The president is bought as well as congress. These are things that need to be addressed by EVERYONE, so we need to get over biased bickering between "left" and "right".

A REPUBLICAN who worked on wall street for years no less. Are we to that point--where if someone works for a TV network that you don't like is automatically so evil that you can't listen to a word he says? Even when he's in your own party? If so, then this country is in way worse shape than I thought. We're all a bunch of sheep who can't think for ourselves...and we deserve every bad thing that happens to us.

As I said, the MSNBC talking head is an idiot. Money has always been part of politics, particularly in the US, and it always will be part of politics. Individuals can contribute directly to the candidate of their choice, or they can contribute to PACs that support their political ideology. Political contributions are a form of protected speech. If you have a problem with that I can recommend several other nations that do not have free speech.
