I would not have burned them all. They could have been read to captured enemy combatants, in order to extract enemy plans.
They should have been mailed sooner, the enemy would have surrendered rather than face the prospect of being tied down and this book read to them.
I have too much respect for our troops to make them read garbage just to get information. How about we just send O'Reilly out there and have him just talk to the enemy.
My God you liberals are a sad bunch. I think more military members are more likely to be conservative than liberal. You finally get a few that act as petty as you all are and you have a collective orgasm. Kinda funny really but really sad and pathetic
Some idiot teabagger decided to send a box of Bill O'Reilly's worthless "Pinheads and Patriots" book to our brave men serving in a very remote location in Afghanistan instead of things the soldiers would actually need like say... food, clothes, soap etc.
I think it would be outrageous to send books to a war where people are freezing at times in the sand at night.
At least the books went to a good cause when they burned them. At least some people got warm.
PS: Conservatives and most Republicans don't like Bill O'Reilly and consider him to be a populist, not a right wing anything.

LOL!!!..you are right!!
Imagine his face when he gets kicked off a chopper with an armload of his books.
The grunts would be laughing at him, thinking he's going to get murdered by the enemy, as he walks out into the dessert.
Three weeks later, he'll be marching the entire enemy command back into camp, with one of his books in each hand.
I applaud the soldiers for doing this. Whoever sent the books owes the soldiers and our military an apology. That's my two cents.
So you applaud the silence and destruction of ideologies that do not conform to yours?
Hmmmm......The nazi book burning squad would have loved you.
