Yes, brutally wrong. If you were born in Norway you'd be better off than the middle class in the USA.
You know in business they have something called the best practices standard. You find out what other businesses are doing well to receive desired results. Maybe we should start trying to determine how other countries are doing better than we are and try to adopt some of their practices. It is obvious we need to do something. What we are doing is not working.

Yes...I think the problem is that after WW2, America stood alone. Only major country with an intact production base, infrastructure, workers, ports on two oceans...everyone else was reduced to rubble and buying American to rebuild.
There were no real competition. And that gave decades of unparalellled prosperity. It gave people the illusion that the prosperity was from America doing stuff right, and so a lot of dysfunctional practices ended up as sacred cows.
Let us know when you are leaving for this utopia Norway, I'll be sure to give you a rep point for putting your money where your mouth is
No shock the very same individuals saying this stuff, are the ones who hate america.. LEAVE, and take your hate with you!
Good Lord--do you think you might get a little overly dramatic from time to time? The question was which country--any country in the world--that you'd want to live in if you were poor. I'm not stupid. Why wouldn't I name the ones that have the best standard of living across the board? The part that I find most entertaining is that you've translated that into "hating America." Would I love America more if I chose Bangladesh?
