But you are one of many people.
You can't make a claim based only on your own personal experience.

It would be like saying, "I owned a Chevy that was not reliable; therefore, all Chevys are not reliable."

??? we're talking about MOST gay people here. some straight people on this forum have claimed that they chose to be heterosexual... does that mean that heterosexuality in general is LESS chosen than homosexuality?

We don't need to read minds to know people didn't choose something. If I ask you if you like a certain food and you say "Eww, I've never liked that food my entire life. It's disgusting and makes me want to puke", do I need to be able to read your mind to know you've always found that food disgusting and didn't choose to find it gross?
When i was a kid I wouldn't eat tomato's because my sister told me they were made from blood, I still have no desire to eat them.

I believe it is our environment that makes us who we are, events and experiences when we are young plus our sensitivity to how we handle those experiences.

So then why the problem with people not choosing their sexual orientation and gay marriage?

That is actually not the subject of this thread.

It's been discussed many times before on other threads.

Actually, it fits in well with the thread, it is just you dodging the question.

Of course, 90% of those conservatives probably believe Obama is a socialist, so who the hell knows if they even know what conservative means.

That would be a guess by you.
My definition of "conservative:
- small government
- low tax rate
- strong military and defense
- strict punishment for criminals
- traditional marriage only
