I am not going to waste 15 minutes of my life watching this stuff. I did watch enough to see that they were going door to door with Tdap, a required vaccine in most states. The parent would still have to sign permission. Tdap contains pertussis vaccine, and California had a horrendous pertussis outbreak a couple of years ago.
The issue is not whether or not the parents would have to sign it. The issue is that Doctrain was wise to question whether or not an immunization was the culprit AND whether or not it was received through the school. This video proves this possible.

Tdap is required in NYS by the age of 11 or the student will not be permitted in school. Our district did not offer it nor does it offer any other vaccines. The paperwork just to keep necessary meds and epipens in school is detailed: there's no way they would expose the district to the 1) liability and 2) expense.
I believe NYS was trying to avoid the outbreak CA experienced.
