If this story and the last 210 cases have taught me anything it's that George Zimmerman might not have survived the attack that night had he not been legally carrying a weapon to defend himself with.
Trayvon forgot the #1 rule of how to win any gun fight, have a gun. Just because you're younger, in better shape and faster doesn't mean you'll win every time you ambush somebody, eventually someone will defend against your attack and you won't get to eat your Skittles.
What was this teen doing far away from home at two in the morning in a neighborhood that was recently plagued by crime?
Why didn't his parents know and have control of where this teen was?

No one banned the wearing of a crucifix when Jim Jones, Mark David Chapman, and a whole host of others abused religion in the 70's- 80's cult climate. Present tense shall we ban Catholicism because of the behavior of rogue priests? Shall we ban the cloth because Bishops are misrepresenting the cloth? They're being thugs using the pretense of politics to undermine me (and all women) navigating secular life. Father Fledger (St Sabinas) is a thug to white Catholic & white Methodist women. We're not important relative to his 'target audience' so wiping his feet on us as the bane of his existence/ root cause of evil is perfectly acceptable?
To be clear: He's not liberal. He's not Catholic. He's not anything he claims to be. He's a black separatist with a white face hiding behind the collar. The teachings of Jesus are nowhere to be found in his words or his deeds and he gets a free pass from the Vatican.

Now see, it's patently obvious that the police report wasn't read. It wasn't 2 a.m. at all. Trayvon's dad knew where he was...at the nearest
convenience store, buying Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea. And he had every right to believe that doing so should have been safe. Too bad they didn't know that a self-appointed and armed watchdog who had a gun despite a prior assault on a PO was going to chase and confront the young man, then shoot and kill him.
It just seems weird. That the guy doing the killing would be the one calling the police. If you want to kill someone in cold blood, you don't have the police on the line, you do it as secretively as possible. None of it makes any sense to me.

At least they were able to get him on the 911 call screaming help while in fear for his life before defending himself with a firearm.
And since we're tossing out all types of wild speculation anyway (i.e., a mysterious third party helping Martin "jump" Zimmerman), how about the possibility that Zimmerman approached Martin with his gun drawn? That scenario seems very plausible to me.
And to me as well. He clearly needed to prove himself as some important
character in the community; how sad that killing a young man has made him a victim in the eyes of some.

It was not 2 in the morning, but if you repeat something often enough in LaLa Land, it becomes the truth...kind of like clicking the heels of your ruby slippers. It was 7 PM. The victim had a cell phone which his father repeatedly attempted reaching him on...but he could not respond...he was shot to deaath. Cops didn't bother to answer his phone either.

Zimmerman was going back to his vehicle, had lost sight a while ago of the Martin teen when he took off running.
While going back to the truck Zimmerman was jumped from behind by the Martin teen and was according to a witness or witnesses was being beaten to a pulp.
If Zimmerman did NOT shoot he himself would be dead.
Self defense with or without this law.

I was reading some of the news reports out there.
Witnesses didn't specify the time, but some of the news stations were saying 2am.
I can't take off the ruby slippers though because my three year old has just started watching the Wizzard of Oz on the Cartoon Network right now.
