Don't go there Edward, you've lobbed some real stinkers into open forum and they are just a mouse click or few, away. In my case it was clearly an honest mistake. Going after the low hanging fruit of obvious typo's or inaccuracies makes you look like the idiot, not me.
If Zimmerman were black, I would feel the same way, you are incorrect. If your unarmed son, who has no history of violence was killed on his way back from the store, would you brush it off and simply accept the police explanation because the guy who killed him (and has every reason to lie) said it was in self-defense, after he left his vehicle with a loaded gun in his holster to follow your son?
Exactly! It shouldn't matter what race either of them were. A kid is dead and every parent would want to know why.
Feeling pretty emotional right now. Not because Zimmerman has been charged; but because Trayvon's parents know that he did not die in vain. His death was not brushed aside; the public cried out for him and demanded justice for him. Though his life was short, he has touched the lives of many.
RIP, Trayvon. Whether Zimmerman is found guilty or not, know that we DID NOT allow your death to go unanswered.
The longer Zimmerman was out of custody..the more inept and possibly corrupt the authorities looked...on an international scale...It's not that they wanted to do the right thing..finally..The pressure got to great...and with electronic media such as this...lay people were conducting and investigation and a quasi trial----the authorities felt left out-----the poor babies..
Will there ever be a full investigation into the Sanford police dept's inept handling of this event?
Charges now being laid indicates that they allowed too much latitude or misread the scene of the event entirely so I would hope someone makes a point of ensuring they don't make a habit of this stuff.

Maybe this internet thing is finally becoming useful?.............most of the posters were very bright here at city data...and most would have made good formal judges ----there is hope..
Really? Interesting. Can you explain how the gunshot hit him in the chest? Maybe George is as good with a gun as Bubba Watson is with a golf club. Or was Trayvon running backward? Or maybe the bullet ricochet'd off a tree or building or sumthin'.
The special prosecutor knows a lot about this case that we do not yet know. This is why Zimmerman was, in fact, charged with second degree murder.
Some good will come of all of this...people do sincerely care about justice and fair play..If justice is not served or abuse...we are all in danger...as I said...good luck guys...make the repairs and move on...Thank God for the American people who are not afraid to think and speak.
It's a sad day in America when folks are arrested because of media pressure but it appears that day is upon us. I'm confident the rest of the system will play out more fairly.
He wasn't arrested because of media pressure. Sanford wasn't doing their job so they got someone who would look at the facts and decide.
