It is a cancer that does destroys neighborhoods. Just let it happen to your home and neighborhood and see how you like the affects.

That is reality.
Reality is all real estate is local. Speak for your area.

In Arlington County, Virginia, they do not have public housing set aside for people on assistance. There are many apartments throughout the county that each have a limited number of units that accept "Section 8" vouchers. This way an entire building does not "go Section 8".

I don't know wherever they lived before Section 8. Your scare tactics don't work with me. They'll find a place to live.

Section 8 is a federal program its effects can be studied nationwide. Do you have an opinion on the matter?

Yep, 77 year olds with bad backs, bad eyes, and unable to drive should be working more not less, the GOP solution to everything, work harder, til you drop. All that is missing is the bullwhips and chains.

It doesn't really matter much to me what some politician says, I will NEVER - under ANY circumstances - rent to a Section 8 tenant. It's a 100% guarantee that they're going to destroy the house.

I'll sell all my properties before I'll EVER do that.

Their relatives? Friends? Charity organizations?

Section 8 is a scam to shift the riff raff (I used to be one of 'em, btw---Elyton PJs represent!!!) to surrounding areas, while taking former PJ property and turning into high-end condos. Read up on Cabrini-Green, that's how these progressive "leaders" roll. Sweet talk you in your face and then stab you in the back for a quick buck.

Isn't a family that has to foreclose on their house worse for the country than 100 Section 8 folks?

If that guy you dumped had a good job he wasn't getting a rent subsidy.... Oops.
That right there is why I hate this type of policy. Work should always be encouraged.
