Your last sentence really gave me a chuckle. The ego is astounding!
Oh Atlas, why don't you just shrug? LOL
You use the popular title of a law to decide what the law means logically ?

I never know why someone has to remind readers that the judge/jury decides, not a message board. That strikes me as super-egotistical, as though the rest of us believe we're deciding something by expressing opinions.

We now may come to understand just why Serino was so adamant about arresting Zimmerman.

GZ did plenty of dumb things from the night he saw tm to the lies at the bond hearing. Not stopping the interrogation with Serino with an 'I want a lawyer' isn't at the top of his dumb list, but it's pretty high.

So, words do not have meaning, then? Maybe the title of the law should be 'Go Out And Shoot Anyone Whom You Think Is A Threat To You'. If that was the name of the law, how would you interpret it? Pretend you're not a lawyer, just an average citizen, of course.

No one is 'deciding' here, except a few zimmerman fanatics. They have all made the blanket statement that zimmerman will not be charged with anything and will be acquitted.

This is open discussion, with many good points being brought up.

I believe everyone posting to this thread knows they, themselves, are not going to decide the outcome of the trial; that is for the jury to do. Whenever an opinion is expressed that z fanatics don't like, they come back with, well...what you just wrote, actually.

Zimmerman's account of the incident is full of holes and his credibility is in the basement. His only hope is that he's being tried in Florida...

That evidence is not there.

Actually it's very high on Z's stupid list. I attended a seminar hosted by a law firm that specializes in defending homicide cases. This one was held for CCW holders in Arizona at the Phoenician Resort.
The advice they give is as follows....

"even if an armed intruder kicks in your front door and enters your house and you shoot and kill them, the very best thing you should do is call 911 and then call your lawyer next." Your attorney WILL advise you over the phone to say nothing to the police with out his presence." When the police arrive, do not answer any questions without your attorney present. Even a person who was just involved in a 100% ironclad, justifiable homicide will be charged with a crime if they say the wrong thing with out counsel present.

Some people do not think it is okay when civilians take the law into their own hands, especially when they end up killing someone who was not doing anything wrong and when the killer could have avoided killing someone by staying in their vehicle and allowing the police to detain and ask questions if necessary. Newsflash - some people actually care about other human beings no matter what race they are, and another thing blacks do not take to the streets every time an innocent black person is killed.

Trayvon Martin was not 6'3" (he was 5'11") and did not play football in higschool. He was not suspended from school for drug dealing or drug usage, was not high the night he was killid, had no history of violence or a criminal record, and if you are so concerned with his character, why don't you care about that of George Zimmerman? He has been arrested (for assualting a police officer and domestic violence), is a known liar and was on prescription drugs at the time he shot Trayvon Martin. Trayvon Martin was not a thug and George Zimmerman is not a hero. If you are going to attack the character of someone's dead child, get your facts straight and while you're at it get a little background info on the the killer that you're defending.

Oh and you must not watch the news or read the paper because they have shown recent pictures of Trayvon Martin and older ones. If it isn't one of his pants sagging and a mouth full of gold teeth, sticking up his middle finger (some that weren't even him), some people will not be satisfied. George Zimmerman made a mistake by killing someone that was loved and cared for whose parent's had high hopes for him. He wasn't perfect, but he was loved. He was not a thug to his parents, he was their son. If it happened to yours, would you just let it go?
Amen

Why does'nt anyone wonder why faux automatically took the side of zimmerman? They lead the charge of calling black leaders "race baiters" eventhough they knew the whole thing smelled funny from the get-go. All the Martins wanted was justice and not let this lying murderous POS walk just on his word alone.

Let us not forget that Mr. King got a huge settlement that he squandered on drugs and booze being arrested many times on a host of charges. I particularly remember the video on the news of a white truck driver who was pulled from his truck and beaten within inches of his life by blacks.

IMO, this is why George Z has been arrested. The authorities fear black violence and murder and so Zimmerman is the scapegoat.

With the recent video that shows the true height and picture of Mr. Martin the news media continues to show a photo of Mr. Martin at age 10. That photo was provided by the parents of Mr. Martin. Trayvon Martin at the time of the shooting was 6'3", a football player in training, had training of martial arts, was suspended by his school for drug, (dealing or usage). Mr. Martin at the time of the shooting was not an innocent ten year old boy as the news is portraying.

The only reason and the real reason George Zimmerman is in jail is to try to prevent blacks from murdering whites, burning businesses, and using this incident to loot.

Rodney was on a small part of what was happening in L.A. The police have been doing that type of thing for years, the only reason that this really blew out of control was because it was taped for the world to see and the cops were set free. There is no comparision to this case at all. If zimmerman is set free which I doubt, someone else will go after him on their own. THERE WILL NOT BE RIOTING! Besides your neighborhood neo nazis are waiting for something to jump off anyway

If somoene is following you without introducing themselves and presenting the reason that they are following you...it feels threatening. Even if you are carrying around a copy of the Florida Law Codes, it still will feel threatening. One does not stop to ponder and differentiate between following and stalking when one is the object.
you must be totally paranoid in malls or sports events or any place where there are a dozen or more people.

Most people are a little paranoid when someone is following them when there ARE NO others around.
Could be that's what the poster meant.

Explain in the best way you possibly can, how being at a sports event or shopping venue corresponds to being followed down a dark deserted street where there is only you and the person tailing you.

You seem to forget tht GZ, by his own admission was actually following TM. Paranoia did not come into play.
