I thought conservatives in this country were all about supporting the free market. I guess the faux conservatives want a religious police to control this.

Business sometimes gets things wrong- This gay band wagon that they think they should jump on is a smaller wagon than anticipated. We are all victims or this propaganda. People believe that one out of ten people are gay...which is a crock- Target assumed that this is ten percent of the market that they ignored..so they pander to this when in fact the real numbers is probably one out of 200 are gay..It's not that Target is advocating on behalf of gays- they actually think they might be maximizing profits.

I think you had better check your facts before posting....In the United States, according to exit polling on 2008 Election Day for the 2008 Presidential elections, 4% of electorates self-identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual, and these are just the ones no longer in the closet...

Whether its ten percent or 0.5 percent it doesn't matter; every gay person has a family and friends who love and support them very much and they too might buy these items. Not everyone in the world hates gay people - just because you do doesn't reflect on the rest of the population.

Yes, that's why it's called the free market. Every individual should have the freedom to choose what he buys or doesn't buy.

Then social conservatives should boycott Target until (maybe never) Target stops selling them.

The wouldn't even know what they were boycotting and wouldn't recognize an "offensive" tshirt if they were wearing one.

"Angry right-wingers" is a redundancy.
