Oh well, it will be repealed once Romney gets in office.
How will that happen? Will Romney pull an Obama and simply declare the law null and void?

Congress enacts and repeals laws, not Presidents. The ONLY way this law will be repealed is through at least 60% of the vote in both the House and Senate, AND Romney must win. If all three of these things do not come to pass, the law goes into effect in 2014.

On the bright side, no one has to hear any garbage about single payer or public option for the immediate future.

From SCOTUS:

Beginning in 2014, those who do not comply with the mandate must make a "[s]hared responsibility payment" to the Federal Government. §5000A(b)(1). The Act provides that this "penalty"will be paid to the Internal Revenue Service with an individual’s taxes, and "shall be assessed and collected in the same manner" as tax penalties. §§5000A(c), (g)(1).

So according to the court and PPACA, not having health insurance is a tax penalty in 2014.

Actually that explains the medicaid part of the bill, written by Obama quite nicely.. Which seems the Supreme Court struck down.

Unless states can opt out - you can kiss your ass goodbye. Businesses will get rid of employees (will definitely not hire), they will elect to pay the fine instead of furnish healthcare, unemployment will go sky high, etc., etc. **** poor decision by scumbag Obozo and the Supreme Court.

Apples and oranges.

If you DON"T resister your auto to drive on the street, you are NOT required to get insurance.

If you house is paid for, you are NOT required to get insurance.

If you breathe, you are required to pay a tax penalty if you don't get insurance.

Main points:

Court rules 5-4 to uphold individual mandate
Court says the requirement to have insurance is a tax, and is constitutional.
Court says on Medicaid that the federal government may not take Medicaid from states that refuse to take part. (That is a limited ruling, without striking it down. In the ruling the court offered the government a way to remedy this potential problem.)
Court vindicates, affirms Presidential and congressional power in an important issue like health care.
