Glad to see many people out to see this movie. I saw it and it tied in all the decisions of Obama and the whys were answered.

It must nice to hear the sermon from a church you already believe in. Confirmation bias, the best feeling of human biases?

I don't watch these movies when they come out from either side nor do I watch the Michael Moore propaganda.

The administration generally had a status quo approach on the management of wild horses and burros, subsidies to factory farms, lethal predator control by Wildlife Services, and the use of chimps in research—although a scientific report released in December on the value of chimps in laboratories has altered the trajectory on that issue for the better. In actions that could only be characterized as hostile, the administration pushed to de-list wolves from the list of federally protected species in the Northern Rockies and the Upper Great Lakes, worked with the slaughterhouse industry to nullify a California downed animal protection law, and tried to allow the killing of sea lions in the Northwest.

With three years completed in his term, President Barack Obama is moving decidedly in the wrong direction on animal welfare issues, earning a grade of “C-minus†for 2011 according to a Report Card produced by The Humane Society of the United States

give me a break-obama is no friend to animals (or people).
Keep on about something he ate that was put in front of him as a child. How, childish!

Because it's so hard to find a left-leaning documentary. A glance at Netflix shows an overflowing supply of Liberal documentaries that pander to the viewer's beliefs in everything from the military, to global warming, to wacko Christian fundies. Once in a while a Conservative documentary comes along and Liberals lose their minds.

Someone sent me a link on You Tube in regards to the 2016 movie...I'll have to find it. Has anyone seen it? It made some pretty serious allegations....

This is from Thomas Sowell's article---

"This fear of European "exploitation" prevailed widely in the Third World in the middle of the 20th century. But, by the late 20th century, the falseness of that view had been demonstrated so plainly and so often, in countries around the world, that even socialist and communist governments began opening their economies to foreign investments. This often led to rising economic growth rates that lifted millions of people out of poverty.

Barack Obama is one of those people who are often wrong but never in doubt. When he burst upon the national political scene as a presidential candidate in 2008, even some conservatives were impressed by his confidence.

But confident ignorance is one of the most dangerous qualities in a leader of a nation. If he has the rhetorical skills to inspire the same confidence in himself by others, then you have the ingredients for national disaster."
Yes, it was so much better when European nations and the United States owned most of the world. Oh the heavy load of the "The White Man's Burden".

Cinebar, it's time you stop defending this turd, he has been nothing short of a disaster for animals in this country and I know you love animals, as I do. Think outside the party.
Rev. Wright did not say he believed it came from Obama. He said it came from a friend of Obama's; he offered no other information about the origin of the offer.

Actually the opposite seems to be true. This has got be at least thread number four with some sort of right-winger drooling over this documentary like it is some sort of non-partisan, objective documentary. It's not. It is no better than watching a Michael Moore documentary--although he occasionally peppers some facts into his documentaries and not just impressions. At any rate, I think some liberals are responding to these threads pointing out that very same hypocrisy. You know: "Wait a minute! you bash every other "documentary" out there but all of a sudden the one written by a supposed conservative is wonderful/perfect/true." Come on.
