Did you know that it was a type of beer that they found to be keeping some people healthy in a eastern country city? The process used to make the beer purified the water and the non-beer drinkers/ water drinkers were the ones getting sick and dying from diseases.
So you're right, drink beer.

It has been known for years that fluoride is bad for the elderly. Even some dentists are against it being in water. Cities don't seem to care.

Thats because they say it helps to prolong the life of the pipes, pumps and water towers.

Some cities essentially get their water from the mountains. And then treated sewage goes down river.

Down river from other cities is an obvious concern.

Agricultural areas might have a problem with tap water quality. Agricultural areas have pesticide and fertilizer run-off
.

Some 8,000 years ago humans invented wine and beer, or stumbled on and discovered, in part because it was risky to drink river or even well water infested with harmful micro-organisms which the fermentation process largely eliminated. And that remained the case until well into the industrial era.

I remember an old expression in Italian reflecting this: better a bad glass of wine than a good glass of water.

Maybe the industrial era will prove to be brief and we’ll come full circle.

Good Luck!

Well, let's see. Our species has survived from at least the last several hundred thousand years up until only a bit over a hundred years ago by drinking water from wherever they could find it (rivers, wells, storage tanks, etc). I'm sure that water wasn't exactly devoid of impurities. And now, all of a sudden, within the last twenty years or so, we will all die if we don't drink bottled water from private corporations that are in business to make money. Yeah, no reason to question their word on all of this or suspect ulterior motivation.
