Mmmm, not really a duplicate thread. This is not about Terry Jones but is about the man who made the "movie." Two different people.
Maybe not but his name was intitially thrown out because of what he did before.
Then he got dropped when this movie guy surfaced.
Will this movie guy get dropped now that Al-Queda has claimed responsibility ?
Al Queda is saying they did it because we killed their #2 man.
That sounds a lot more plausible than hurt feelings over a clip.

Well, it was certainly a convenient "cover" for Al-Queda to get non-members involved in the 'protests" and a cover for their attack.
I feel sure that if the "movie" maker did not violate his probation, he will be "dropped".....which is what I thought before Al-Queda taking credit for any of this.
Btw, I don't think it was a matter of "hurt feelings" by the clip; I think it was a matter of enraged feelings, intense anger as a result of the clip.
So, if you say anything that "causes" another to punch you in the face, it's your fault?
Good to know.
In fact, you don't have the right to say ANYTHING at all you want to other people, and there are times when your words are "illegal" so you should be careful about that. I think legally it's referred to as "fighting words" and it is not as straight forward as you may think. There are lots of qualifications. It's legal, complex.
Could you possibly have made a more misleading post?
First, the link is about Bill Maher, NOT the man who make the cheap so-called movie trailer specifically insulting one religion.
Bill Maher's movie insulted ALL religions, not just Islam.
Your post is pathetic, and indicative of how far all the really hard, hardcore right wingers are having to go to defend the action of the man who made Innocence of Mohammed.
Ummm, did you read the title of the link I provided? I did not come up with the title myself, I just provided the link that was titled exactly with the wording I provided. Don't like the title? Don't complain to me!

I know you didn't create the title........and you didn't give any clues as to who the link was talking about when you posted it. It was a very deceptive post. This thread has been about the man who made the movie Innocence of Mohammed. Here's your post:
I read the title and I read the piece from the link. I read it all. You could have been more "descriptive" of the link. It certainly looks like and attempt to deceive.

Reason: added link
blaming the video is a step in the direction of supressing opposing views that Obama will take in his 2nd term. Welcome to a socialist despotic regime. you get what you deserve if you are ignorant enough to re-elect Obama.
The film maker has a parole hearing coming up this week. My guess is they found enough proof that he did, in fact, post the video on YouTube himself.
