It is quite possible, the Atheistic Liberal brainwashing programs (found via the television, movies, education system) has worked extremely well, their propaganda has really taken hold on people (particularly the easily lead impressionable youth). All the while, of course Islam is allowed full access and supported wholeheartedly within these same (White Western Christian based) societies.
While I think the idiocy known as Christianity (and organized religion in general) will eventually go extinct as humans evolve, this thread has no basis in reality or fact. And considering the fact that I can buy Mein Kampf on Amazon.com, I don't think the Bible would be banned

The tax exempt status should be removed (perhaps with exception to charitable deductions) and creationism should be kept out of biology classrooms, but I'm all for religious liberty. I may be an atheist, but I'm not a totalitarian.
Bully for you. But before you pat yourself on the back, let's ask some questions:
Do you believe in taxing the Girl Scouts, the Chicago Symphony, the Sierra Club, The Elks Club, Drum Corps International, the United Way, the Cheapeake Bay Handicapped Boaters Society, your local homeless shelter and the other 1,500,000 non-profit organizations in the United States?
If not, then you are indeed for the arbitrary use of power of government to punish those organizations that you happen to disagree with, which is totalitarian in nature.
Further, people who argue for the taxation of churches don't really understand money or taxation. Because a corporation is only taxed on its profit, not its revenue. Given that 99.9% of churches are run on a shoestring, that means there just wouldn't be a lot to tax in the first place. So unless you are going to rewrite the tax code to make any dime brought in as fair game, then you wouldn't see any money at all.
If Americans allow the Obamabot bigots to have their way it could very well become a reality.
