Hardly surprising. It's Chelsea Clinton vs. Bristol Palin. Any honest parent would tell you in five seconds which one they would rather parent.
Please tell me you were just attempting some sort of clever correlation rather than honestly believing the drivel you just wrote. First of all, any comment starting with the phrase "studies show" can immediately be dismissed as complete and utter garbage, as those of us without a desperate partisan agenda full well know, "studies" are only as good as the moron behind them. Any study can be manipulated with an erroneous control to achieve the desired, agenda-driven outcome.

This entire thread subject is much more of a socio-economic and culture issue, and is also blind to the fact that pop-culture is much more of a driving factor behind liberalism than is actual social and political narratives. Hollywood say's it's cool to be liberal, racist to be conservative, then you find yourself with a certain demographic blindly attaching themselves to liberalism.

Also, these numbers are greatly misrepresented when taking into account liberal havens versus conservative havens, as salaries are significantly higher in the liberal areas. (Not because employees are smarter, but adjusted for cost of living)

I was going to go on, but I'm ashamed that I've even spent this much time responding to your nonsense. Carry on, folks

This from the guy that doesn't realize not all people drive their vehicles in extreme conditions.

Why do so many ****ing threads turn into a "Bash the Teacher" **** fest?

Yeah, you're brilliant.

Hats off to our liberal K-12 schools and higher educational systems, where they have an overwhelming majority of liberal teachers and liberal professors. Surprise, surprise, that after spending 12-16 years being indoctrinated by libs, the students come out thinking like libs.

Both ideologies attend K-12 schools.

The question, of course, is why?

And this explains IQ...how?

And why aren't as many conservatives going through college? Do they think to themselves "no way I'm going through that liberal propaganda machine!"?

According to the Pew Research Center:

30% of social conservatives have incomes >75k, 28% have college degrees.

41% of liberals have incomes >75k, 49% have college degrees.

(in case if you searched it, somebody trolled the wikipedia page on the topic and messed up the figures, but wasn't smart enough to mess up the more in depth chart near the bottom)

And please understand the difference between Democrat/Republican and Liberal/Conservative. Republicans are on average actually more likely to have college degrees than Democrats (although I may be wrong on this), but as a subgroup, self identified Liberals are by far the most educated people in the United States, followed by libertarians.
Can you explain how one could have been a raving liberal for his first 20 or so years if political thinking and then change over to the smart side of things when he saw all the socialists being nominated for President. It is me I am talking about and I switched when the Dems nominated McGovern and they haven't failed to nominate a socialist since that time. As time goes on I become more and more anti-liberal so I guess I am just getting dumber as time goes along from what you and your "studies" say. I forgot, I have two college degrees and over 75 hours above them. I guess I just didn't go to any colleges that were controlled by people from the progressive side of things.

Who cares...everyone knows Mitt is a professional businessman. Scrabble your acid flashbacks on blacklight paper. It won't make the Country run smooth.

Most are bleeding heart Libs and aren't as smart as they think they are. All this "stuff" you are going to need and use later in life (cuz I'm so smart)......you don't use hardly any of it.
