I think this will upset a lot of retirees and other people who have established 401k's over the years. I see it as the government not giving you flexibility to do what you want with your own money that you earned over your career at work or by some other means. Yes the want to shift folk money to annuities so they can steal it like SS. They say but hey your guaranteed a check every month so its a great deal. Folks will lap it up like turkey gravy I'm sure. My wifes friend started her own company selling annuities and is making a fortune.

I'm not seeing anything on any creditable news sites yet. It seems to be a wild claim made only on right wing blogs so I think it is safe to say this is not creditable.
