And no one is suggesting we stop building along the coastlines, why would you even suggest something that dumb? He is suggesting we build more intelligently as just paving over everything isn't intelligent.

Coastlines is too broad a term, what we should not be doing is development along barrier islands, and flood zones.

The problem is you just about call everyone who doesn't agree with you a communist. Your views are so far right, moderate conservatives and moderate liberals, would look like Communist to you.

No.... states and local govt can enact zoning and enact setbacks along coastal areas. Can you think without taking the extreme position on issues that you can't grasp?

But all of us pay everytime theres a disaster , taxes regional wise go up to pay for those in Flood zones or the Coastal towns..it would be worth it with increasing storms.
