Shipping Containers to Become Condos in Detroit - Yahoo! News

Btw, Detroit is in Michigan.

As to Hurricane Sandy, are you suggesting that no homes should ever be built along coastlines? That the Midtown Tunnel never should have been built because it flooded? Get a grip!
First of all that is not Detriot , that is LA...detriot has no LRT. Thats also the result of not exporting as much...we have an excess amount of containers sitting and rusting in the ports , so why not put them to go use. Its a clever idea , its not for everyone...

Exactly, yet this does not deter chicken-litte-tards from tearing at their clothes and wailing to the skies over... nothing. It is fascinating to watch.

I keep wondering what the Secretaries of Defense, State, HHS, and so many of these people should have to do with farmers and what they do.
Perfect example of you attempting to generate fear based on something you are clueless about. The executive orders establishing councils are fairly boilerplate, they include all sorts of people but leave it to a fear-mongering poster like you to waste your time worrying about it.

Here you go Roy, the list of people included on the establishment of the "White House Council on Women and Girls" in 2009: Executive Order 13506 -- Creating the White House Council on Women and Girls | The White House

Who is included in the White House Council on Women and Girls?

OH MY GOD Roy why are they including the Sec Defense for the council of women and girls? It couldn't be some boilerplate order template, nah it is time to run screaming over the evil conspiracy, just like you have with the rural council.

Lets go back to 2005, when George Bush established the Gulf Coast Recovery and Rebuilding Council:

Why indeed. You tell us. Maybe as part of Homeland Security to keep the illegals out of our coastal areas?

Get real.

It is generally grandfathered in to the new laws. It varies by state and muncipality.

How your community is implementing AGENDA 21 - YouTube

The agenda 21 conspiracy is brought to you by the same people, who told you that they were certain that Mitt Rmoney would win the presidency.

The agenda 21 conspiracy is brought to you by the same people, who have been predicting run away inflation for 4 years now.

The agenda 21 conspiracy is brought to you by the same people who insisted that President Obama is going to take away your guns.

The agenda 21 conspiracy is brought to you by the same people who told you that Fast and Furious was going to bring down the Obama Presidency.

The agenda 21 conspiracy is brought to you by the same people who told you that Obamacare has death panels.

How many times can you cats be fooled by these con artists?

Then what has been accomplished by new laws? There's virtually no new costal land available for new building. Existing homes, grandfathered in, don't solve the problem.

Wrong. Agenda 21 is brought to you by the United Nations as a GLOBAL initiative looking toward one world government.

Read up on it, why don't you, so you look informed.

The conspiracy, not the actual agenda 21 initiative which is the sort of the thing the UN was created for, cooperation of nations. None of this stuff is binding. It is irrelevant.

Keep listening to the same voices that were certain that Mitt Rmoney would be president. That inflation would be like the Wiemar Republic or Argentina.
Keep listening to the same voices that you told that President Obama was going to take your guns.

These voices are con artists. They have been wrong repeatedly.

It's binding as soon as your local government starts drawing up maps, making zoning laws, drafting and voting on new regulations to enforce specific restrictions and changes to fall in line with State and Federal goals according to the UN agreement signed by the U.S.

It has started in your own back yard. Check out your state and city/town listing on the links provided.
If you think it's 'irrelevant', you'll soon have a rude awakening. You WILL be paying for something that you say is "irrelevant". Open up your wallet. The government loves people like you.

You don't have much experience with development do you? Development is constantly happening throughout the country... people are buying properties, remodeling them, or tearing them down. These laws would affect those looking to remodel or tear them down as they would have to comply with new rules.

And there's still coast line left in America for development, not sure why you'd say that.
