It's gonna create much more jobs but at lower wages... I expect people to leave the state and head somewhere else.

Liberals telling others what to do. What a shock. Reality is a tough pill to swallow for some especially if it isn't paid for by the government.

No one cares about the tired government rants from you old timers who whine and complain all day, this will create jobs but at a cost, wages will drop.

Getting employees to do the same jobs (manufacturing) jobs at lower wages will be a problem.

You don't care about me? What a compassionate liberal you are. People get to choose and you have a problem with that. You don't have a problem with folks choosing whether to abort children or not. Your a hypocrite.

Actually, forcing a woman to have a baby she doesn't want and then refusing to help her with her medical bills and food and clothing for the child is what is hypocritical and pretty much represents the right wing ideology on the subject.

I think it's really sad because all we are doing is setting our grandchildren up to have to fight the same battles that our grandparents fought for a decent standard of living for doing a job.

The next thing they will attack is some basics, like overtime for over 8 hours and 40 hours a week and the 40 hour work week will fall after that. If a guy hurts himself building an F150 Ford will just fire him for cause and refuse his worker's comp claims.

What kind of a country are we building here?

That would be dictatorship, which is what the religious RIGHT hypocrites want.

It's simple enough to figure out, the rich, wealthy right wing want's to crush unions so their buddies in big biz will pay the lowest wages possible, and laughing all the way to the bank. All they're concerned about are PROFITS.

Show me who is trying to get rid of OSHA laws and I'll be on board with your rant. Until then continue ranting.

No, it really won't. First of all, when Washington bailed out two of the Big Three companies, all of them gained concessions from the UAW that slashed benefits and slashed the hourly pay of their new hire line workers to $14.50/hour from the bloated $28/hour + that their comrades make. Not a peep, they keep hiring, and the workers keep working.

And even though there is no proof whatsoever that this legislation will lower wages, you obviously don't know much about how many people in Michigan would be happy to have a job, ANY job, since the corruption, thuggery, and ridiculous and unsustainable demands of the unions essentially drove away hundreds of thousands of blue collar jobs over the past few decades.
