There are more Republican US Representatives and state governors than there are democrats, so that must mean we're a conservative country.

If 2.5% of the voters who couldn't make up their minds decided differently last month we wouldn't have a democrat for president, hardly an overwhelming liberal mandate.

Yah, it's a nice little speech but actually it's a fairly liberal speech. "...teaming with people of all kinds that are living in peace and harmony." Sounds like a hippy fantasy to me. But I know conservatives eat that stuff up when Reagan does it...now if Obama said that maybe you'd call him a socialist or worse. Still though, the question is which conservative country is sooo great? And don't say America when we have a Kenyan, muslim socialist president with a communist senate...right?

Do you actually mean Senator Joseph McCarthy was prevented from finishing the job of getting rid of the communists?

Now, when you look at the liberal countries (most of Europe, Japan, S. Korea, etc.) they are in a hell of a better situation. Heck, the "conservatives" in many of those countries are the equivalent of many Democrats here. Even here in this country if you take away the more liberal areas (ie west coast, much the midwest, northeast) our country would be a shadow of itself. So where are these great examples of countries that conservatism produces?
You left out Russia, great model of conservatism.

Actually, it's about 3.5% (I know your kind is math deficient). So your logic is that if more people voted for republicans then we would be a conservative country...brilliant analisys dude! Maybe this might help:

How about we start with just one great conservative country? (And USA is not an appropriate answer, unless you happen to think Obama and the Senate are conservative).

I look to the USA of our ancetors. I really can't think of a better country overall that gives opportuntiy;allows such diversity of opinon and has as little government interference with a person's life. The very reasons out ancestors left their home countries;really.

Saudi Arabia and Somalia. If Saudi Arabia was a Christian theocracy it would be exactly what the conservative Republicans want to create in the United States, including laws based on religious belief and the subjugation of women, gays and ethnic minorities.

Definitely Somalia.

Little regulation, low taxes, no entitlements.
