You guys are the ones that support secession from America. You love it so much that time and time again you guys talk about leaving. There is the door.

Try again

Many of the conservatives on this forum have said that women should not be allowed to vote.

Gee, is the OP really that hard to answer? Seven pages worth of posts, citing all the evils of lib-rulism...blah-blah, and still not one conservative can point to a conservative country to be proud of!

With apologies to squarian, ''My Little Right Wing Pony'' indeed!

Lightbulb Which conservative countries do Republicans look to as a inspirational example?

In no particular order:

Iran: safe haven for religious fundamentalism
Saudi Arabia: " " "
Somalia: No government regulation, low taxes

Sounds about right, and then the Cons wonder why we are trying to fight them from preventing their utopian dream from happening where only land owners have rights.

Really? That is who you're idolizing?

Joseph McCarthy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In succeeding years, McCarthy made additional accusations of Communist infiltration into the State Department, the administration of President Harry S. Truman, Voice of America, and the United States Army. He also used charges of communism, communist sympathies, or disloyalty to attack a number of politicians and other individuals inside and outside of government. With the highly publicized Army–McCarthy hearings of 1954, McCarthy's support and popularity faded. On December 2, 1954, the Senate voted to censure Senator McCarthy by a vote of 67 to 22, making him one of the few senators ever to be disciplined in this fashion. McCarthy died in Bethesda Naval Hospital on May 2, 1957, at the age of 48. The official cause of death was acute hepatitis; it is widely accepted that this was caused, or at least exacerbated, by alcoholism."

You're wanting us to go back to one of the darkest periods of American history, one that even most hard core Republicans these days distance themselves from?

So far, after going thru pretty much all the posts, I've seen the following countries discussed to provide example(s) of countries operating on conservatism:
North Korea
China
Vietnam
Cuba
Russia
Soviet Union
Somalia
Saudi Arabia
USA
Iran

Apologize for missing any.

That's the difference between the liberal mindset and conservatives..............looking toward some other country as an ideal instead of looking toward our our country as a shining example prior to the corrupt regime of the great charlatan Barack Obama installed by uninformed, gullible, one issue activists and socialist leaning academics.

We live in the only country founded on the basis of individual liberty and limited government. I see no need to seek inspiration from other countries. Why do you?
