So you want to see the US become a religious based country, which I assume that means Christian based country, which last I checked, this country was not founded on the idea of being a one religion country and I have no desire in seeing your Conservative utopia ever seeing the light of day where "God" is more powerful than our country's laws.
Every country is a religion-based country. It's just that we have the wrong religion, or more accurately, several wrong religions in the process of consolidating into a Grand Wrong Religion.

I don't believe in religion, therefore all religions are wrong.
Actually we liberals would like to see us become more like Denmark or Sweden. When that happens, then we will definitely be dancing in the streets and riding our bikes everywhere. Or even Germany, it would be great to be more like Germany. You seem to think there is only one liberal country in Europe, hate to break it to you, but there are many liberal countries there.
Why wait for what will never happen? Go dance in the streets of Denmark or Sweden, just don't try hiphop dancing, those monocultural whitebread countries do not look kindly to those who do not assimilate.

Actually I had a friend live in Denmark for a year and was quite surprised with how nice everyone was to her being an American nor required her to assimilate to anything. Of course she also didn't bring the beer chugging Nascar Republican mentality with her either, so that probably helped.

Let's try "I don't believe in science, therefore all science is wrong." Makes as much sense.
You obviously don't believe in reason either.
Actually science can be tested and proven, religion can not. And yes, I do believe in reason, which is why I believe in science. Heck now that you mention science, I think that should be the official religion of our country because that I believe.
What's the basis of your understanding of modern Scandinavia - The Vikings with Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis?
I've been there several times. Whats yours? Some sappy art-film?
