Are you saying box cutters can't be used to slash throats and murder someone? When you're murdered, you're going to be just as dead if they used a knife or a bullet.
Actually guns don't kill people, bullets do.
Let me just ask you this. If you wanted to head on up to your local elementary school and kill as many people as possible, would you take a boxcutter or a .223 Bushmaster semi-automatic rifle?
Since DF represents her Black Community who 98% supports Obama...
Let's get all the Blacks to give up their weapons and stiffen the penalties for possession. Let's see how that program works then maybe institute for the rest of the US.
I'd bet we'd lower the Black crime rate and make their community much safer. Surely all the Blacks would go along with that plan.

Seriously! your argument can't hold water. I never said or inferred sharp objects can't be used as weapons. All I'm saying is that a gun can do more damage than a box cutter. To believe otherwise is foolish...

That's funny because as far as I know the terrorists in 9/11 had box cutters in their hands, didn't they? And that was VERY effective.
We banned them with the Brady law several years ago with a time set for the ban to be lifted. We reached that time limit and they did research to see the effectiveness of the law over that course of time. They found no significance between having the law and not having the law.
So can someone explain to me why we are back to this incredible stupid measure? We already know it doesn't do anything, so why the hell are we doing it again?
You'd be amazed at what I can do with my big toe. lmao
I wonder how many of these progs have any idea about the human body as an outstanding weapon. 55 years ago only one year out of the Army, and I was trained and did a office like job, I took a 6 inch stiletto from a big high school kid. I had told him that if he ever brought it into the school building again it would be mine and he shot the blade out for me. All of a sudden he found himself on his back and wondering how he got there. As I plunged the point of his weapon into my desk and broke it off I told him that I had been taught some wonderful ways to relieve knife wielders of their weapons.
They just don't understand what can be done with the human body.
Here comes the legislation. Do you agree or disagree?
"It will ban the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession, not retroactively, but prospectively," and ban the sale of clips of more than ten bullets, Feinstein said. "The purpose of this bill is to get... weapons of war off the streets."
The 1994 so-called assault weapon ban was dumb to the point of being bizarre. It restricted guns having two or more supposed "assault" features. So you could have a bayonet lug (attachment point) or a folding buttstock, but not both. That's idiotic. Either a bayonet lug is too dangerous, or it's not. Either ban it or don't.
It's as if an anti-booze congress critter decided to write a law saying that you could buy a bottle of vodka, or a bottle of scotch, but not both. Come to think of it, I wonder if Feinstein was drinking both when she concocted the law.
I agree, not a chance in hell of passing but I agree with it..
You never know. At the very least it will draw out a debate as to why certain people think these killing instruments deserve to be in civilian hands.
As Bloomberg said on Meet the Press, the NRA said it's number one mission was to defeat Obama, how did that work out?
