A guy should know he's going out with a guy who is now a girl and vice versa.

Dating these days has taken on such a complexity.
You think GLBTQ people are a new concept? They've been around since the beginning of time, LOL.

And yes, anyone who is dating should be as honest as possible - whether you're gay, straight, bisexual, or whatever. Just common courtesy.

Now that is more along the lines of truth, and yet some people here would rather that single "welfare mom" raise a child than two financially-stable gay folks. As I said above, at least you know their (gay parents') kids are well-planned and expected!

Sure glad you can see into the future to know how this kid will turn out.

Please tell us which one you use? A Ronco or a Mattel?
Mine's a Mattel and I couldn't have seen this one coming.
So, will the child be gay or lesbian, a thief, gun toting mass murderer, politician or what?

Here's a little factoid for you: characterizing people who are espousing ignorant, bigoted nonsense as being ignorant and bigoted is not "name calling" or flinging insults--it is simply a completely apt and valid description of their ideology based on their very own words.

Example: if I said something like "All black people are lazy and untrustworthy" and you said I was being ignorant, prejudiced and bigoted, it wouldn't be "name calling" or an insult because, well, ignorant, prejudiced and bigoted would be an exact, true characterization of me based on what I said.

See how that works now?

Don't stand a chance, huh? Then please explain the numerous studies & statistics proving otherwise - along with my own personal observations, where they turned out better than most other children.
Well, for starters other "normal" kids are going to wonder as well as their "NORMAL" parents.

It's not "normal" to see a kid with two dads or two moms....no matter how you try to slice it.

Kids today are much more open-minded, and used to seeing families of all types - and hate is not an innate quality, it is taught to them by their hate-filled parents.

And what is "normal," exactly? If you mean it's not the majority, then you are correct. It's also not "normal" for kids to be raised by grandparents or siblings, and not "ideal" for kids to be raised by single parents or step-parents. But these scenarios still happen, kids deal with it (better than adults, typically), and the children from these households can be successful and happy just like any other. In fact, as I already mentioned a couple of times, studies have shown the children of gay parents generally do BETTER overall.

Our president is the product of an interracial marriage, and eventually single parenting, which many consider abnormal or less than ideal. Despite how you might feel about his politics, you cannot say he grew up to be anything but a successful and stable man. So what is your point? Are you trying to say that only normal = good? I'm considered abnormal as a natural redhead, but that doesn't mean I'm any less of a person than a brunette; and it certainly doesn't mean I'm any less deserving of equality or respect. Did your parents teach you about respect? It seems not.

Not a healthy lifestyle for those boys. I felt terribly sorry for them.

Did that really happen?

Doubtful... and if it did happen, I doubt he took the time to speak with them & find out if the children were unhappy. I've known quite a few families with gay parents, and they were/are just as happy and well-loved as any other children. I'm beginning to feel sorry for children of right-wingers, if the examples from this forum are any indication of how they're raised!
