The thing I don't get, is surely NK has to know that militarily that they just can't complete... hell, they don't have enough food for the starving population.
Granted, I'm not a military person, but it would seem like we could just carpet bomb the **** out of them before we even send a single troop on their soil.

Just purely militarily speaking, it was embarrassing how easy Iraq got their ass handed to them.
The thing that is silly is the middle eastern mentality, they seem to just love to saber rattle and use all kinds of silly metaphors to describe their "prowess" for lack of another way of saying it......
Same goes with NK... some of their propaganda news releases read like some kind of over-the-top silly soap opera, just the use of metaphors and grandiose rhetoric..... That in of itself is embarrassing, let alone the lack of being able to deliver....
I guess I'm of the old school mentality of under promising and over delivering.......

3 words for anyone who think NK is the bad guy. WE STARTED IT!. The US is the problem and a bully. Using sanctions against countries they don't agree with,those are acts of war even if not violent,its acts of war. Exactly what led to Japan attacking Pearl Harbor.

The regime may lose in NK but the people and the insurgents won't. Just like Iraq,just like Vietnam,just like Afghanistan. I wouldn't be shocked to see China get in on it as well.
The cost of the US having a military presence? I don't know, stability? Things have been pretty peaceful during America's stint as policeman.
We've been pushing it? Who's the one threatening the use of nukes? Which nation is building military arsenals while their populace is poor and starving?
The world is in turmoil because of US interference. Haha, hardly. It's not even close to turmoil.
The middle east is as it is because of many reasons. The creation of Israel for one. Yeah, invading Iraq was a terrible decision as well. But we are not completely at fault for the tension in the middle east.

I don't think any of us know what to expect when we go in. The people of NK appear to be less brainwashed than what most people think though.
