You might want to read this on the development of the Biblical canon as we know today. I'd always thought it was the council of nicea that decided, but apparently it took many centuries.

Sure He did. What are you talking about?

Not you. My comment was in reference to those who always play the "offended" card.

Sorry.

You know, I've always felt sorry for Judas. What an awful task.

That is your fight, if that is what you want. Good lick with that.

It's funny, I never heard the calls to get government out of marriage until it started looking like you guys were going to lose.

With everything going on in the world, do you actually think that Jesus is concerned with what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their home?

Children are starving. Innocent people are being slaughtered all over the world. But Jesus cares about the genitalia of two people who love each other.

I am starting to dislike your Jesus more and more.

Unfortunately you cannot express an opinon about these issues without offending the homosexuals. Unless you agree 100% with them, and condone/approve/promote their sins, you will be labeled as a "hater", "bigot", "unloving" etc, etc. Getting personal, and faking anger is an old trick, and it just won't work with me anymore.
That's because the only answer to this question is "yes." There are no conditions on it whatsoever.

If posters want to say that homosexuality is wrong and/or Jesus wouldn't approve of that lifestyle, that's their choice. But if you put any conditions on practicing gay people to follow Jesus, then you are limiting Jesus' reach, and that goes against everything the Bible says Jesus is about.

Jesus would have welcomed the religious leaders of His day following Him too. They chose not to.

There are several books included in the dead sea scrolls that don't exist in the modern bible. Who cut them out?
