I like this guy way better than the Jesus some of you are preaching.

Isn't that the gist of Jesus's teachings as well? The only thing that Jesus adds is don't deceive God.

Not according to some of the christians that are posting here.

It is a simple question: Would Jesus have allowed practicing homosexuals to follow him?

Unfortunately you cannot express an opinon about these issues without offending the homosexuals. Unless you agree 100% with them, and condone/approve/promote their sins, you will be labeled as a "hater", "bigot", "unloving" etc, etc. Getting personal, and faking anger is an old trick, and it just won't work with me anymore.

No. You are taking the words from the OT, and from Paul, and attributing them to Jesus.
The entire bible is the word of God. Read what Jesus said about sin and sinners. Sexual sin is sin. Truthfully do you think Jesus approves of homosexuality. 37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

The entire bible had been cut, chopped, edited, translated, re translated, re edited etc BY RULERS.
They use religion to subdue the masses.

So excuse me, but I refuse to live my life based on a book that has caused more suffering in this world than any other.

I think that Jesus approves of any person who loves, and cares for other people. I don't think that he would be as approving of the high and mighty "christians" who use him to demonize other humans.

You couldn't be more right. The Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, would not approve of the almighty church that has brainwashed the masses.
