I have 2 questions here.
1. Why do we have so many "armed" invaders when the other developed countries don`t?
2. What if there are more than 3 or 4 armed invaders? What do I do if a whole bus load shows up?
I'll bet the occupants turn out to have known at least some of the intruders. The whole thing sounds shifty. I'll bet the occupants of the home that was invaded were involved in the drug trade.
At least the citizens if North Carolina won't have to pay for a trial and incarceration.
And for those who think I am cheering at the deaths of 2 people, it's not that simple. These two pieces of garbage chose to invade someone's home for whatever reason. They did so ARMED. They chose their own death. They could have chosen to stay at home, and watch tv, have a beer, and discuss the baseball season. They could have done laundry, played video games, dozens of things were available to them. They chose to commit an armed invasion of someone's home, and paid the ultimate consequence.
This was their choice. Choices have consequences, this time, the consequence was their lives.
I think most liberals believe it's open season when someone invades your house armed. I disagree with some of the gun control measures politicians are trying to put forth, but I think self-defense is somethign both side of the aisle agree on.
Two reports from the media in a thread that shows how the anti-gunners are off in their demands and thinking. They say you don't need a 15 shot magazine, according to the anti's in New York you only need 7. But when 3 or 4 armed thugs bust through your door against just you, not having enough firepower could cost your life but Biden says you only need a 2 shot double barrel shotgun to protect yourself....
It also shows you can't count on the cops.
However while a armed home invasion can happen by chance, more likely the thugs new something about the house or people that made them target.
When many of them have asked, "Why do you need a mag bigger then 10 rounds?" , I respond with your exact situation. What if is there or 3 or 4 bad guys with 10 round mags? Seldom respond back.
Good guy or bad guy..when people die it is tragic - no one is scum. The whole mess is sad for everyone.
Alot of people are scum. Alot of people are lower then pond scum. And, unfortunately, attitudes such as yours keep alot of people alive in this society, which should be dead. Life is not fluffy clouds and rainbows. Life is mean, rotten, and nasty. People will kill you for a look on your face and nothing more.
The people who committed this crime and worthless criminals, with absolutely NO socially redeeming value. They are not going to invent the better mouse trap, how to slice bread, or have any positive effect on our society as a whole. Their death was preordained and 100% their own responsibility.
NO tears of remorse, sadness, or anything else need to be shed. The state of North Carolina and the country for that matter, is now slightly a better place.
What's the use of having a gun, if you don't help other people out?
You actually expect someone to risk their life and everything they own to help someone like you who's anti-gun? People like you are exactly why I'll never use a gun to come to the aid of a complete stranger.

Look I'm glad that the person who was being robbed is fine and all that, but you're celebrating the loss of human life. Where's the moral purity in that? How is that justified?
I don't get it. Maybe I just have higher and better morals than you. Oh well, looks like my service this country is getting spat on by people who celebrate death.
