So let me get this straight: You think that if someone attacks you and you need to kill them to stop them you shouldn't do that because it's murder?
If there is anyway possible not to kill - that is what you do. If it means fleeing out the back door - that's what you do- Just because you have a gun does not mean that you use it. If there is no route of escape for you then you do what must be done. Always leave a route of escape for your enemy...it's the honorable thing to do...You don't kill out of spite or sport.
No, it is not murder. Murder is a legal term meaning an illegal homicide. A legal homicide is not murder.
Be that as it may, it's still morally reprehensible to celebrate the death of another human being. I'll concede that I was mistaken on my defining of murder and killing-in-self defense, but my statement still stands.
You equate a thug robbing and murdering an innocent person with someone who would shoot and kill an armed intruder?
No. Killing someone - regardless if it's self-defense or not - is wrong. Be it a thug doing it or someone defending their home. Justified or not, killing someone ought to NEVER be a go-to option, but if there's absolutely no other way THEN proceed with what needs to be.
Don't you dare attempt to belittle and patronize me.

No I can't since I'm neither progressive, a part of their camp, or a member of the left.
Nice try though.
