CNN is reporting Russian Special Forces raided a militant group hideout. Possible connections with the Boston bomber. No links yet, just on TV. Well, I did find this --
US FBI working diligently with Russian authorities to get a resolution and the evidence together....... strange that our Admin is able to work cooperatively with Russia, but not Repubs, what's up with that??

Well maybe if they did that before the bombing these two might have been stopped.
The FBI and CIA seem to have a big disconnect regarding these two bombers.

Yeah it is. I suppose though, if we had all Moozlims in America in Peter King's favored interment camps, this bombing might not have happened. After all, that tactic kept the Japanese from invading California.. You really have to wonder how some of these morons get elected?
Now the latest hook the grabbies are using... wait for it.... terrorists MIGHT possibly buy guns without background checks. They sure didn't wait long to try to use this bombing to their advantage even if it has nothing whatsoever to do with their argument. Here's a thought for the Commander in douche. Maybe close the borders and stop being so paranoid over US citizens owning guns legally and actually find some non imbeciles to run DHS and The Justice Department so they're not blindsided by terrorists all the time.

Unfortunately out of fear, ignorance, and the quest to get elected again.
The reason that I constructed the post that way was to avoid going off topic. And yes, Iraq is another notch in the belt representing countires that we should not have invaded/occupied. And yes, the former administration is totally responsible for that occupation/invasion, but I was not blaming them for what these brothers did, because their is no excuse for what these brothers did. There are thousands of threads on CD which discuss and debate a particular horrible 8 years in our history, that we would have been better off without, but this thread is not one of them.
That's fine, as long as we understand that we can now add 5 more years (and counting) to that 8.

No, not really. Just look at some/most of the people voting, many of whom can't tell you who the VP is or who and what Nancy Pelosi does for a living.
It all boils down to "do I like him and what is he going to do for ME. It has little to do with is he qualified, does history show he can make decisions and can he run the country for the benefit of all the citizens instead of just a select few.
