I don't know how these parents could stand to watch two young children suffer and slowly die while doing nothing! I hope they are charged with first degree murder. They knew that their prayers led to the death of their older son, so surely they knew the younger son would also die.
That's real Christlike of them. They sound like fanatical sadists!
Yeah .. KILL THEM 'before' they're born!
Problem solved!
It's amazing the hypocrisy of supporting the so-called "right to choose" (abortion) and then condemning these people. In both cases someone dies.
I do not support these charlatans who fool people into believing in "faith healing," but there is certainly no room for judgement on the part of those who support a woman's decision to kill her child in the womb.
After the death of their first child, the second child should have been taken away from these Fundamentalist Christians.
They are being deceived. This is not "Christian fundamentalism." A "fundamentalist" Christian believes that the bible is God's word, written by men as they were lead by the Holy Spirit. That is what is meant by "inspired scripture." Fundamentalists therefore believe in the inerrancy of scripture.
These people may be "fundamentalist" in their view of scripture, but they should not be used as an example of all who call themselves, "fundamentalist." The "faith healers" are charlatans. They are misguided in their understanding of the roll of miracles in Christs time, which were for a sign. The "faith healers" come to their belief through incorrect biblical exegesis. They are cut from the same cloth as the "name it and claim it" variety.
Sara Palin is an example of a "fundamentalist Christian." I guarantee you, she does not believe in "faith healing."

Religion needs to die already, it's had progress in a choke hold for two millenia too long.
Really? Can you explain why you think that? We were more Christian in this country 150 years ago, and I think we've made a lot of progress. We actually sent men to the moon and back, we invented computers, the PC, we learned to fly ... what roll did religion play in preventing progress?
A Philadelphia couple — serving 10 years' probation for the 2009 death of their toddler after they turned to prayer instead of a doctor — has violated their probation now that another of their children has died.
Herbert and Catherine Schaible belong to a fundamentalist Christian church that believes in faith-healing
Philadelphia Judge Benjamin Lerner said at a hearing they violated the most important condition of their probation: to seek medical care for their remaining children.
People die from disease, do these people think god interferes and decides who gets to die with a long agonizing horrible disease and who doesn't?
